This is about Trumpś credibility decreasing 17% since February. It was 62% in February, and now itś at 45%. This was a poll taken on how many people trust that Trump will follow through with his promises. I don see how this kind of poll could go down because he is following through. He is starting the wall with Mexico, has attacked Syria & Afghanistan, and now he is starting to talk about North Korea. If this was a poll on just if people trust him, I could see how it would go down because he is starting to scare many people. However, polls during the election were totally wrong so this could just be inaccurate too.
People could just be mistaking the word credibility for handling things. He's obviously followed through with several plans of his, but he also makes lots of false claims and acts like a child on twitter, which hurts his image
This article is talking about how Trump is becoming less and less credible as a president. The author criticizes how often Trump takes to twitter and tweets accusations of other countries. Such action could lead to North Korea striking the U.S before we can do anything about it. The author also mentions Trump's increasing false claims can compromise his ability to handle propaganda against him in the future, since everything he says now is false. He tried to accuse Obama of tapping his phones, that a nonexistent terrorist attack occurred in Sweden, that Germany owes NATO vast sums of money, that Mr. Obama released more than 100 detainees from Guantánamo who returned to the battlefield and that Democrats made up allegations about Russian efforts to influence our election.
Yeah. From the tweets that i saw, its unprofessional of him to tweet certain things. He is the face of this country and is just making us look bad in front of other countries. There is propaganda from both sides. Trump wants to say whats best for his interests, the media says things whats best for their interests. Trump should have known what he was getting himself into.
Trump is completely unprofessional and certainly doesn't fit the "president image." It seems to be that he spends more time on twitter than anything else. I agree with Matt, he is the face of this country and he is making it look bad to other counties.
I think Trump definitely needs to get off of Twitter, but I highly doubt North Korea would strike America because of it. They have threatened us and other countries so many times but everyone knows they won't do anything. However, some of the claims are a little out there but the guantanamo bay one has been fact checked to be true. Not every single thing that comes out of his mouth is awful or a lie. I think people just find any way to tear him down but I also think if he had a different attitude then people would stop. His credibility should be based off of what he is doing with our country and not what he is gossiping about on Twitter, I don't think people are really looking at the big picture.
This article talks about China being fed up with North Korea trying to be a threat and continuing to test missiles and nuclear weapons. Spokesman Lu Kang states that China opposes any words or actions that could escalate rivalry and tension between the borders. Donald Trump has been pressing China to rein on North Korea in hopes to "ease US-China relations over trade and other relations". China does want to stop North Korea from becoming a full fledges nuclear power, but does not want to start a war because it would cause millions of refugees to flee to China. I agree that there shouldn't be a war between the borders, but there needs to be some way to try to stop North Korea from trying to be a nuclear threat.
There is so much tension and something is bound to happen. North Korea is crossing boundaries and they will end up getting what they have coming to them. With so many countries testing bombs and getting ready for war that just means something is coming. China is even on high alert right now for bomb threats.
http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/21/asia/china-north-korea-coal/index.html China has a ban on coal imports and exports but just recently North Korea has has docked in China and their ships were carrying coal. Nothing has changed since the embargo so NK was in violation of Chinese law. Nothing has been done yet but tensions are rising and there is talk about getting bombs ready in case of war. China is very dangerous and there is no telling what will happen.
This article talked about Russia and how they tried to use Trump advisors to infiltrate the campaign. I think that its pretty sad how its the middle of April and we are still talking about how the election and Trumps campaign could have been effected. Its kind of too late now. People were excited for the political propaganda and hate regarding this years presidency to go away, and its still not ending. Page is one of several Trump advisers US and European intelligence found to be in contact with Russian officials and other Russians known to Western intelligence during the campaign, according to multiple US officials. We cant really do anything about this fact. Yes its suspicious that one of Trump's advisors were talking with Russian officials during the campaign but what can we do now?
In this article Mr. Joel S. Wit is talking about nuclear weapons and how Trump is mistaken if he real believes that North Korea will give up their nuclear weapons. And about how confrontation with this country could end in some kind of war. North Korea has been a long time isolationist nation not really friends with any other country so if we make them made by confronting them it could cause some serious issues and start some serious conflicts, possibly even a war.
In this article Trita Parsi is talking about nuclear weapons and Iran. Iran is sliding back down the path to war which as a friend concerns the US of A. Iran going back to war would mean that our troops could deploy again and if that happens lives could be lost. Iran’s domestic politics also are causing problems as they do not necessarily agree with us.
I have been hearing a lot of talk about an upcoming WWIII. Donald Trump makes it pretty obvious in media overage that he wants to go to war with NOorth Korea. A war will solve no problems and will end nothing but innocent loves. The U.S. will be allied with hina if there is a new war.
http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/19/opinions/human-rights-cycle-violence-nikki-haley/index.html This article, written by Nikki Haley, is about how humans rights are being striped away in other countries, while we take the rights we have for granted. In Syria, multiple teenage boys were imprisoned for writing anti government phrases on a school building. An example fo symbolic and freedom of speech, was the reason for them being tortured in prison for trying to get their voices heard. When people protested the young boys' arrests, they were fired at by police. America has so many freedoms, whether we like to believe it or not while other countries are suffering for reasons that would never even be questioned to happen in the U.S. We forget every day that we are all humans who in the end, just want equality, and to be treated with respect. The United Nations needs to do something about these attacks on innocent people in third world countries, especially Syria, where these incidents took place.
This is honestly mind boggling. The fact of life and how we are controlled by such powerful people in the government, and the way we live. Even if we tried to do something about it, they would overthrow us. I just think it's crazy that the governments are denying people of their human rights, they weren't made in order to be controlled by some powerful leader. We were all born to BE powerful leaders. This really made me think.
This is bizarre. Martin Luther King used civil disobedience for a good cause, how in any way did Trump better the United States with civil disobedience? Standing up for what you believe in is not being like another person in specific, everyone does it, it is human nature. People just find some random thing to write about, whether to get people stirred up or because they truly believe it but it doesn't add up. Using crisis to build legislation is not something only them two did. This entire article is crap.
https://nytimes.com/2017/04/21/us/politics/barack-obama-post-presidential-events.html On Monday, Obama will finally be speaking in front of a crowd, since Inauguration Day. He hasn't really commented on his thoughts of what happened since that day. It seems like he's been trying to remain on a lower profile and enjoy his vacation. After all, he did deserve it. But there's been accusations and policy reversals. Unlike Trump, Obama plans to be civilized in his speech and doesn't plan on commenting on any of Trumps proposals or policies.
I agree that is is crazy how governments use force and restrict civil rights just to indimidate people, when it is obvious that there is a way to live peacefully with your citizens. It is sad that they involve children and I feel as though many governments should look at how much democracy's impact the country's well being. Many countries that rule by force are struggling and are not even supported by their own citizens. I feel like the satisfaction of your citizens reflects on how the country is as a whole.
