The whole premise of this article is how Ted Cruz is hated by so many, even his fellow Republicans. I understand this completely. Watching the Republican debates, I instantly disliked Cruz intensely. I don't know why. Maybe it was his smirk or the fact that he seemed artificial or his extreme conservatism. However, I didn't feel the same level of dislike towards Carson or even Trump who at this point seems comical. This is not going to bode well for Cruz if he turns so many people off, even of his own party, if he does get the nomination. POTUS has to be likeable, not just smart.
I can agree with you there Amal. I don't really care for Ted Cruz or any of the Republican candidates for that matter. They all have qualities that I tend to dislike, but back to Ted Cruz. I remember a quote i heard from the daily show with Trevor Noah about Ted Cruz. Quoting him very loosely here, he mentions that Cruz has been able to unify people from both parties, not for their love of him, but rather for their hatred of him, showing that Cruz isn't especially liked on both sides, and is overall not really qualified for the job of POTUS.
I completely agree that the US should act more mature and somewhat be the bigger person and not strip their rights from them. I also completely agree with you when you claim that he is certainly a terrorist. There is no doubt about that. It is very scary knowing that he may know information about other future attackers.
I completely agree with you in the fact that the United States is sometimes unjust with their ways of handling terrorists. Robert Dear did murder many innocent people and needs to be considered as a terrorist. For example, the Boston Marathon Bombing, one of the two men was shot and killed and the other was tried in court. Right there shows us that we are unjust with our treatment of terrorists. Also Osama Bin Laden, he was a man that killed thousands of innocent American lives, and we killed him. So why didn't he get a fair trial like the Boston Bomber or Dear.
I agree with everyone with the fact that we need to be more consistent with our punishments and our ways of dealing with terrorism. The reason why we didn't give Osama Bin Laden a fair trial is the fact that we were already wanting him dead and because it could've been a opportunity for another attack carried out by him. But is there really a way to completely deal with terrorism?
Here we go again with another Donald Trump article. This time he is saying that the only way we can defeat ISIS is if we take out their families. I'm not really sure what Trump means, either we decide to bomb their located camps, or maybe he is inclining that we kill their parents. In my opinion if we decide to "Take out their Families" that makes the U.S. look like terrorists to the ISIS members.People wonder why there is a growing hate towards the Western Countries in the Middle East. Children are growing up to be on bomb watch from the U.S. We are dropping bombs on their backyards, and all they know is that the U.S. is responsible for these attacks and they don't know what ISIS or Al Qaeda or who ever, did to the U.S. to make us bomb them. Basically both countries think they have done nothing wrong, but i mean come on... France pretty much bombed the snot out of ISIS after their attacks on Paris. No don't get me wrong... I think that what ISIS did was way to unnecessary and that some acts of war like what France did is ok. But the moment we start harming innocent family members because their relatives are in ISIS is crossing a line between acts of war and terrorism.
http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/03/us/san-bernardino-shooting/index.html this article covers the shooting that happened yesterday at the land reginal center that killed 14 people it was a random shooting. random shootings are starting to become more and more popular which is scary but still i don't believe this should lead to stronger gun laws because if they get any stronger than we wont have guns this crime was done with semi automatic rifles not automatic showing that even semi automatic guns can be deadly. they are just random acts out of the blue i think they are becoming more popular becuase they see how much the news is feeding on them like how weve been learning about how news shows issues that we should be aware about try to make gun laws more stricter most likly from a republicans view point i think this is why they are happening like this.
I disagree about the gun control laws. I definitely think that there is a way to add more gun control laws with guns still being allowed. For example, there could be a stronger, more critical screening process for people who are trying to buy a gun, which could possibly rule out any potentially killers. Honestly though, if no one had guns outside of law enforcement and possibly hunting this wouldn't be a problem. I will never understand why people get so defensive about the right to bear arms, but it is written in our constitution so they have the right to it. I agree with you saying that more of these incidents are occurring because they know they will become known around their area, and potentially across the nation through our media.
I have to agree with trey about the gun laws. I don't believe they should make the laws stricter because a gun is a dangerous weapon, regardless of what kind it is, if its in the wrong hands. Ive said it before and ill say it again, if you lay a gun on a table, the gun will not hurt or kill anyone. But if someone picks the gun up then it becomes a weapon depending on how its used.
I slightly agree with Trey, add more gun laws tied to situations like this will not help in the deaths per year. You may slow down gun buying, but not the usage of said guns. This problem though, is very jagged on both solutions. You can't simply get rid of guns in America, and you can't just leave them for everyone. To be honest, I don't really think there is a solution that can appease everyone and save lives at the same time, maybe there is a third solution out there but I sadly do not know it.
I am in the in between on this issue. On one hand i feel that making guns harder to access won't really help the rate, but on the other hand i feel that we should do something about it. I feel if we limit the type of guns sold that solution does not really work. But instead if we made a more difficult screening on obtaining guns that might solve our gun problem. Also for that to work we would need yearly checks on gun owner to make sure nothing changed.
http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/02/politics/jay-dickey-gun-violence-research/index.htmlformer this article is about a Republican congressman who pushed legislation nearly 20 years ago that effectively banned the federal government from funding research on gun violence is calling on Congress to reverse that law. i agree with this becuase id like to understand why people just go on random shootings out of the blue so we can find signs and get them tooken care of before something else tragic happens. I think becuase the media is feedoing on it so much and making them huge deals people think that if there already on there last string why not go out big so they do big shootings knowing it will be heard about all over. Its the person shooting the gun not the gun itself.
i agree that it is the person shooting the gun not the gun itself. the gun cant fire unless someone fires it, a gun cant aim itself at somebody it has to be done by a person. There are a lot of nasty people in this world and they do bad things but is we can limit them there will be no issues of government trying to take away our right to bear arms.
This article is about the growing number of mass shootings in America. One point brought out through this article was that depending on where you look for information, the number of mass killings can very by hundreds. Some databases were counting a mass murder as any incident where more than one person was shot and killed, whereas the FBI now considers 3 or more people shot and killed a mass murder. A quote that really stuck out to me was, "It’s also not clear how many of those stories — many of them from local outlets, including scant detail — are accurate". This is definitely true, especially through modern media, which allows for only some of the selected stories to be told to the public. It is quite saddening to see the number of gun violence crimes grow as the years go on.
This article is about six police officers in Baltimore. They are accused of multiple different things such as involuntary manslaughter, assault, and second degree depraved murder. These sentences can be anywhere from ten to thirty years. Freddie Gray, the supposive drug-dealer that was beaten, eventually died a week later. This article also talks about black on black crime affecting Baltimore. This is different compared to what some people think, about how black on black crime does not matter or get notice. The people of Baltimore definitely notice, that's for sure.
Gun control is a very controversial topic due to the many sides of the issue. This article strongly enforces that gun control laws should be enacted by congress and soon. The article is using the context to form a sentimental appeal towards stronger gun laws. Last week there was a shoring at a planned parenthood clinic and a mother of three Jennifer Markovsky was among the 3 killed by the shooter. The other 2 killed also had family and one was a veteran. I think that although the 2nd amendment protects the right to bear arms there needs to be more control on the distribution. When the 2nd amendment was put in action the world was a different place the land has changed and evolve and there are laws that should be modified to fit the needs of the society we know live in.
On December 2nd in San Bernardo, California 14 people were killed and 17 were wounded. Recently we all have hear of the many shootings that have been happening throughout the country. The recent tragic event has sparked more controversy to push for stronger gun laws. The ultimate question the article says is " Are these atrocities truly beyond the power of government and it's politicians to stop ? " . The answer is left to the public and it honestly leads me to wonder if it is beyond control. The second amendment is strong in terms of power but there are innocent people dying and getting hurt due to guns. Stricter gun laws have a chance in reducing violence and the numbers of casualties.
I know by now must all of us have heard about the shooting in California. I could not believe that so much death in a state so far away is linked to a group so far away yet so close. Something I found very interesting in this article was the couple had a makeshift bomb lab in their home. But to say the least with the police watching facebook post for isis members whose to say they are not checking ours too. The shooting is going to bring up a lot more issues then isis itself.
Amal AbdiDecember 2, 2015 at 8:36 AM http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/02/us/robert-dear-planned-parenthood-shooting.html?ref=us
Robert Dear is strikingly similar to the terrorists of ISIS and the Taliban. He was motivated to kill in the name of Jesus Christ. However, he is being charged with murder. He is not being sent to Guantanamo and having basic human rights stripped away from him under the Patriot Act. Why can't the government do the same with other terrorists? There is no doubt that Robert Dear is a terrorist. His actions threaten the lives of other Americans, and he could have connections and knowledge of other future attackers. In order to defeat the toxic ideology of Islamic fundamentalists, we can not use tactics like torture. The United States can't fight evil with evil. We should try terrorists in a public court and not strip away basic rights to show that we are better than the terrorists. However, we are instead pushing away the innocent civilians who live under the rule of the terrorists groups who feel they have no one to turn to besides the fundamentalist groups for safety.
Reply
I do think methods of torture needed against our enemy terrorist. To say we have a public trial what happens when another terrorist shows up and shoots the place up to free his allie. Too much is at risk to give the rights we have year after year defended to the enemy who year after year has tried to destroy it. In times like these bad choices are to be made and either way is bad but e must pick a lesser of evil and torture is the one.
According to this article, Republicans are absolutely loving Donald trump. First people were saying that he would never get voted for as a candidate. Now, "Donald Trump is once again alone at the top of the Republican field, according to the latest CNN/ORC Poll, with 36% of registered Republicans and Republican-leaning independents behind him, while his nearest competitor trails by 20 points." Things are looking positive for him, but more and more oblique for America. His negative attitude must be winning over some hearts. I personally wouldn't vote for him but, itll be fun watching to see if he wins or not.
I really hope that Donald Trump doesn’t get elected president, I haven’t heard a single good thing about him. He’s incredibly rude and his ideas for America would go against everything America stands for. For example, this country is about freedom and diversity, and building a wall would ruin that.
This article has a interesting view which I kind of agree with. What Trump is doing is simply doing things that no other politician in their right mind will do, which creates a lot of popularity, some bad, some good. But it is still popularity among the people, I'm sure that if you went around and asked about candidates names, a decent amount of people would say Trump, even if they don't want to vote for him, he is just very popular at the moment. However what this article states is that in the month of presidential elections, he is not going to succeed in getting elected. Because what he says he will do and what Trump is currently doing is risky and rocking the boat, and that the popularity will only go so far into the future. There is almost a whole year till the elections and I think his popularity will blow over in the media by then.
I do not think Trumps popularity will blow over. Even if it is bad, it will still be there. A lot of people want to get career politicians out of the government and many of them see Trump as a way to do this. Even though Trump may not be the man to get this across, I do think that a person that is not a career politician could be beneficial to us because they would understand us better and know what a lot of us are dealing with. Instead we get people who have never stepped out of their government offices for five mins to see what the people actually want.
This article started off about a detailed explanation of how the author went rug shopping. Long story short there was two rugs: A pink rug and a blue rug. The pink rug was eye popping and caught your attention right away, where as the blue rug was the rug he thought he was able to live with on a daily basis. He compares the pink rug to Donald Trump and says that in the early stages, Trump is doing a good job of standing out and is still winning the Republican race. However, he won't win according to the author and the blue rug will be the true winner. He also says that American citizens could change their minds in a heart beat, so it isn't clear what the outcome will be.
I honestly found your summary a little confusing, so I looked into the article and I now understand what the author was trying to do. The author is comparing Donald Trump to something that, on the surface, seems to be quite wonderful, but upon further examination, is utterly useless and/or tacky. Yes, the pink rug might be exquisite, like Trump,"[it] does the job that they want done at this moment." The blue, more subtle rug, however, is in it for the long haul, and although it may not be as eye-popping as the pink rug, it will get the job done and will work a lot better to do so.
This article is about the US military running out of bombs to bomb ISIS. The US air force has dropped over 20,000 bombs on ISIS and other terrorist groups nin the middle east that are causing terror all over the world. The airforce is noow requesting more funding to pay for even more missiles. I believe in getting rid of ISIS a lot and if we and other countries have to level there barracks and HQs so be it. There is also some downside which is, we lose money, innocents lives die, and other circumstances which will arise another terrorist group so there is really no stopping them.
This article is about Donald Trump being in a strong lead over the rest of the Republicans running for Chief of command. The closest runner behind him is Ted Cruz which is behind by 20 points. Although Cruz is the leader in appealing to all races, but for Trump he only appeals to a certain group of people which is apparently a lot according to his numbers. Most Americans are saying that Trump will be the best at solving the nations problems. My opinion is that he would be bad at being president but well just have to see because by the looks of it people for some reason believe he will be a good presidents.
IF Donald Trump wins then Americans are truly dumb. This man is a businessman not the next leader of the free world. Just because he says what he wants does not mean he knows how to lead. He will not make america great but in my opinion be the down fall of america. But the race has just begin so am not that worried yet because i know when it comes to game point no one will really vote for him
Fifteen months ago, the United States of America began to launch an attack against ISIS. Due to this, the Air Force claims that this has, obviously, led to a decrease in their weapons. Because of this, they’re asking for more funds because they are "expending munitions faster than [they] can replenish them.” What have our attacks really done to ISIS? There are still attack, still senseless killings. In my opinion, we’re spending money we don’t have, putting it toward something we’re already expending too quickly, which is just a waste. I think something else needs to be done, and until someone can come up with another solution we will continue to waste money.
I agree with you Kathleen. We have enough money to attack a country filled with people who have no choice but staying there but not enough money or resources to accept refugees. Our instinct is to fight fire with fire. We need to learn how to use strategy and figure out where our priorities are. The U.K. bombing Syria is only going to fuel the hate of the extremists and kill innocent people. We need to take our time and figuring out our plan instead of bombing an entire country.
This article is the shootings that occured in San Bernardino CA where 14 people died and the two shooters. The two shooters were later identified as husband and wife Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik. They were later gunned down by the LAPD. I find this act to be disgusting and tragic and also a bad example of the 2+ million law abiding Muslim citizens in the US and the billions around the world.
http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/27/politics/donald-trump-insults-groups-list/?iid=ob_homepage_deskrecommended_pool&iref=obnetwork This article is about the 10 groups that Donald Trump has offended sincehe started his presidential campaign. These groups include the disabled, muslims and women to name a few. Donald Trump has come under a lot of scrutiny since he harassed a disabled reporter. The list go on to include other groups like African Americans, Mexican and his opponents.
With the many numerous shootings, especially the one that occurred in San Bernardo, we once again must ask ourselves the big questions. We have a problem with gun violence in this country, I think we all can see that, the real debate between all of us is, what do we do to deal with this fact? There have been many proposals as to what we do to stop it, when it comes to attacks of this. One of the proposed solutions is, as we have heard, increased gun control, with things like increased background checks and bans on assault weapons. Some feel that this step is a necessary one towards keeping us all safer from these kind of attacks. Others feel that this is taking it one step too far when it comes to our liberties, specifically, the second amendment. This is why there is nothing done in regards to these things, we want it both ways, and unfortunately, we can't have it like that. We as a nation need to have a dialogue about what we all really want, do we want more civil liberties, or more domestic security? you can't have one without impeding on the other, now is the time for us to choose where we stand, and where we will go with this issue moving forward.
This article is about how islamophobia has become worse as a result of the recent terrorist attacks. The author of the article argues that American Muslims are our biggest weapon against extremists. I agree with that article that as a result of the recent terrorist activity islamophobia has become more severe in our country and Americans have become less tolerant. The islamophobia encourages extremists by helping them recruit Muslims that feel alienated and unwelcome. The profile for terrorists has spread and some people associate Islam with terrorism and extremism. The intolerance alienates people that are our allies.
I agree with you Raquel. There has definitely been an increase in islamophobia due to recent terrorist attacks. This is most likely a result from profiling as people do associate Islam with terrorism and extremism. Instead of making Muslims feel alienated and unwelcome, people should not profile them because it isn’t right and they could also ally with extremists which isn’t good for anyone. Everyone should be treated equal and feel like they belong and not be a victim of profiling.
This article was about the shooting in San Bernardino, California. The author talks about how many relatives and friends and neighbors she has lost to gun violence and how her daughter and ex-husband would call her worrying about if they were going to be shot or what they heard about on the news. She talks about how specific places like Columbine, Colorado or Sandy Hook, Connecticut will always be known for what happened there. It’s almost as if gun violence has become a new norm. This just proves that we need stricter gun laws.
Obviously, there are a wide array of opinions on what measures should be made against gun violence, but one thing that I think the majority of people agree on is that it is definitely an issue that needs addressed. Some people agree with you, and just go with "we need stricter gun laws", but what does that mean? We already have vigorous back ground checks for people purchasing fire arms commercially, but not when they are sold under the counter. And personally, I don't believe that putting in place more regulations would do much to stop all these mass shootings. It comes down to mental illnesses driving people to make these crimes, and whether they hurt people with guns, or cars, or bombs, or knives: they are going to hurt people. We can't make everything illegal.
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/04/opinion/tough-talk-and-a-cowardly-vote-on-terrorism.html?partner=rssnyt&emc=rss&_r=0 This article is talking about a measure that could prevent more terrors attacks and mass shooting against the US. I disagree with this solution because overall it is not a great solution because it singles out a group of people that takes care of terrorist attacks but it will not help the US against mass shootings. What this bill would have done is single out a group of people and prevented them from obtaining guns. I know the article states that the people who would be affected are potential teriost but i feel like all those "potential" terrorist are mostly Muslims. We should not infringe the right of many because a few abuse their rights.
This article is about the recent announcement that all roles in the military will be officially open to women. This announcement was made by Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter. THis article goes on about how this is a great victory in women's rights, but it also states that it is a great burden that every woman must carry because they will now be expected to perform at a higher level (even though they should have been expected to do that in the first place). It also mentions some other stuff about how all of the discrimination against women could end because of this, but I highly doubt it. It will take a lot more than this to stop discrimination, and it always will.
I saw this announcement on the news last night and I was really confused. I thought they opened combat positions to women ages ago. Either way, yay women! It's great to be treated as equals physically but there are many more challenges that need overcome like you said. For example, men still make 22% more than women do. Ridiculous, we're doing the same job aren't we?
I don't quite understand why the tweet from Senator Chris Murphy about "no more thoughts and prayers" had to be included in this article, let alone made as the title. I uunderstand that this author wants something to be done about limiting gun access for the mentally ill and potential terrorists but what the heck is wrong with saying that we are sending thoughts and prayers to the victim's and their families while we try to figure out a plan? The senator and the author both seem like very bitter people. Not everybody has to say that the are sending their thoughts and prayers, nobody forced people to create a trending hastag out of it, and it is definitely a right that incolves freedom of speech and religion. They cannot say that we shouldn't be doing that. Sorry that many people were uniting in solemnity on twitter. Maybe we just won't care at all next time. It makes me livid.
This article discusses the recent mass shooting in San Bernardino. The author also discusses the recent Colorado mass shooting and some of the causations for it, but the main point that author is trying to make is that there isn't enough attention paid to these attacks when they occur. They happen constantly, only in America, and nothing changes. Politicians give their thoughts, prayers, and well wishes, but do nothing to prevent it from happening again. This is the root of the problem of all these mass shootings, that we see what is happening, but we never correct it. As we can plainly see, it's not going to stop happening if nothing ever changes. Why would it?
I ended up reading this article after scrolling through at least twenty different articles talking about how idiotic Donald Trump is, because I didn’t want to be angry on a Friday night, but this article made me just as angry as Trump does. This article screams “liberal” with every single word it says, and it focuses on the shooting in Oregon, saying that American’s don’t care about school shootings because we’ve accepted them as part of our day to day lives. The author also claims that American’s don’t want to talk about gun control; when in reality it’s one of the only things American’s have been talking about for the last 2 years. In my opinion, how can we blame the lack of better gun control, when the amount of gun violence has exploded, and all gun control did from 10 years ago was get stricter? That means to me that the problem is not guns, but the people, and maybe what’s wrong with the people, behind the guns.
This article discusses John Kasich's extreme anti-abortion campaign during his tenure as Ohio Governor, and why he is so careful about hiding it now that his presidential campaign is in full swing. The article gives some eye popping stats about just how staunch and extreme he is in this one particular issue, while compared to the field for Presidential candidacy, he is viewed as a moderate. He has signed every anti-abortion measure that has ever crossed his desk as governor. Half of Ohio's surgical abortion clinics have stopped giving abortions during his tenure.
http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/01/opinions/opinion-roundup-politicians-lies/index.html This article is about how the media helps politicians get away with lying. The media is supposed to be a watchdog and dig up the truth. The article says, and I agree, that most people are still interested in the facts. It’s just that so many things on the internet appear to be fact but they really aren’t, so people get confused and believe and spread false or misleading information.
This article is about a shooting that happened this week in California, where 14 people were shot dead and 17 were wounded. It happened at Christmas party and it was just normal people having a good time. Four men dressed in black, wearing army gear with assault rifles came in and just shot the place up. Who does something so sickening like that ? These people were minding their own business and having good time. They didn't do anything to nobody and did not deserve to die,. It's sad what mankind does and to think we have have come so for, yet we just drag ourselves down with such hainus crimes as these.
This article is about women finally being able to have jobs in the military that were previously only offered to men. Women are now able to serve on the front line in combat. In the article it says that "It was a powerfully symbolic and sound policy move." I personally am happy about this decision because I intend on going into the services. This decision gives women that equal opportunity that we deserve and that we've always deserved. It bridges the gender barrier that we once faced.
On Friday, Christopher Harrison is charged with attempted murder after allegedly setting two men on fire along Maryland highway. The whole incident was recorded and will be used as evidence in the case against Christopher. The victims and the aggressor got into an argument that escalated into this devastating scene. The two victims are hospitalized in critical condition.

This problem though, is very jagged on both solutions. You can't simply get rid of guns in America, and you can't just leave them for everyone. To be honest, I don't really think there is a solution that can appease everyone and save lives at the same time, maybe there is a third solution out there but I sadly do not know it.
DeleteI am in the in between on this issue.
Deletehttp://www.cnn.com/2015/12/02/politics/jay-dickey-gun-violence-research/index.htmlformer this article is about a Republican congressman who pushed legislation nearly 20 years ago that effectively banned the federal government from funding research on gun violence is calling on Congress to reverse that law. i agree with this becuase id like to understand why people just go on random shootings out of the blue so we can find signs and get them tooken care of before something else tragic happens. I think becuase the media is feedoing on it so much and making them huge deals people think that if there already on there last string why not go out big so they do big shootings knowing it will be heard about all over. Its the person shooting the gun not the gun itself.
ReplyDeletei agree that it is the person shooting the gun not the gun itself. the gun cant fire unless someone fires it, a gun cant aim itself at somebody it has to be done by a person. There are a lot of nasty people in this world and they do bad things but is we can limit them there will be no issues of government trying to take away our right to bear arms.
Deletehttp://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/04/opinion/how-many-mass-shootings-are-there-really.html?partner=rssnyt&emc=rss
ReplyDeleteThis article is about the growing number of mass shootings in America.

ReplyDeleteGun control is a very controversial topic due to the many sides of the issue.

ReplyDeleteOn December 2nd in San Bernardo, California 14 people were killed and 17 were wounded.

ReplyDeleteI know by now must all of us have heard about the shooting in California.

ReplyDeletehttp://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/02/us/robert-dear-planned-parenthood-shooting.html?ref=us
Robert Dear is strikingly similar to the terrorists of ISIS and the Taliban.
In times like these bad choices are to be made and either way is bad but e must pick a lesser of evil and torture is the one.
http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/04/politics/donald-trump-poll-cnn-orc-national/index.html
ReplyDeleteAccording to this article, Republicans are absolutely loving Donald trump.
Deletehttp://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/04/opinion/no-donald-trump-wont-win.html?ref=opinion&_r=0
ReplyDeleteThis article has a interesting view which I kind of agree with.

ReplyDeleteThis article started off about a detailed explanation of how the author went rug shopping.

ReplyDeleteThis article is about the US military running out of bombs to bomb ISIS. There is also some downside which is, we lose money, innocents lives die, and other circumstances which will arise another terrorist group so there is really no stopping them.
http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/04/politics/donald-trump-poll-cnn-orc-national/index.html
ReplyDeleteThis article is about Donald Trump being in a strong lead over the rest of the Republicans running for Chief of command.
But the race has just begin so am not that worried yet because i know when it comes to game point no one will really vote for him
Deletehttp://www.cnn.com/2015/12/04/politics/air-force-20000-bombs-missiles-isis/index.html
ReplyDeleteFifteen months ago, the United States of America began to launch an attack against ISIS.

The two shooters were later identified as husband and wife Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik. They were later gunned down by the LAPD. ReplyDeleteWith the many numerous shootings, especially the one that occurred in San Bernardo, we once again must ask ourselves the big questions.

ReplyDeleteThis article is about how islamophobia has become worse as a result of the recent terrorist attacks.

ReplyDeleteThis article was about the shooting in San Bernardino, California.

ReplyDeleteThis article is talking about a measure that could prevent more terrors attacks and mass shooting against the US.

ReplyDeleteThis article is about the recent announcement that all roles in the military will be officially open to women.

ReplyDeleteI don't quite understand why the tweet from Senator Chris Murphy about "no more thoughts and prayers" had to be included in this article, let alone made as the title.

ReplyDeleteThis article discusses the recent mass shooting in San Bernardino. Why would it?
http://www.cnn.com/2014/06/11/opinion/omara-oregon-shooting/index.html
ReplyDeleteI ended up reading this article after scrolling through at least twenty different articles talking about how idiotic Donald Trump is, because I didn’t want to be angry on a Friday night, but this article made me just as angry as Trump does.
